DBT

Learn DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) with one of our comprehensive introductory or advanced workshops.

DBT Introductory

Our DBT workshops provide essential skills for managing high-risk clients, focusing on emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and therapy-interfering behaviors in individual and group settings.

DBT Introductory workshop is suitable for both beginners and those familiar with DBT or cognitive behavioural therapy. It covers the biopsychosocial theory of borderline personality disorder, treatment structuring for high-risk clients, strategies for enhancing the therapy relationship, and managing crises.

Participants will practice DBT skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation.

DBT Tune-Up

For therapists who either recently completed the introductory DBT workshop, or even those who learnt DBT some time ago, the workshop focusses on key areas of individual treatment including case formulation, targeting, structuring the session, and managing risk.

Therapists will learn how to manage life-threatening behaviours, monitor treatment adherence, and overcome common pitfalls when working with complex individuals.
