Founder & Co-director
Associate Professor Chris Lee
Psychology Training was co-founded by Chris Lee, a globally respected expert in psychology with a remarkable track record in research, teaching, and professional development. With hundreds of workshops delivered across Australia and internationally, Chris is celebrated for his engaging and impactful training style.
As a trailblazer in his field, Chris became one of the first trainers outside the USA to achieve accreditation by the EMDR International Association in 1996. He also holds the distinction of being the first Australian trainer accredited by the International Society of Schema Therapists, reflecting his pioneering contributions to psychological practice and education.

Larissa Meysner
Larissa is a passionate and dynamic trainer with a strong focus on innovative trauma treatments. In 2017, she was awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship, enabling her to explore best-practice treatment centers across the Netherlands, UK, and USA. Larissa is a dedicated advocate for implementing intensive and effective trauma therapies.
An accomplished presenter, Larissa has shared her expertise on EMDR at local and global conferences. Her research includes peer-reviewed publications on EMDR and grief, as well as contributions to the Oxford Handbook of EMDR. She has also served on the board of the EMDR Association of Australia.
Clinical Psychologist
Dr Sian Jeffrey
Sian brings over 15 years of expertise as the coordinator of DBT programs at Fremantle Health Service in Western Australia. She played a pivotal role in developing 12-month and 6-month DBT skills groups and continues to oversee the research and evaluation of these programs, ensuring their ongoing success and effectiveness.
With a strong passion for supporting individuals with personality disorders, SIan was instrumental in founding Western Australia’s state-wide Personality Disorders Interest Group, serving as its inaugural chair.
Currently, she is focused on developing a comprehensive model of care for individuals with personality disorders across Western Australia.
